Vis Pre-Moots
As with previous years, White & Case hosted in-person Vis Pre-Moots in connection with the 31st Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in several offices.
The White & Case Vis Pre-Moots provided teams with the opportunity to plead in front of highly experienced arbitration practitioners and scholars, to help them prepare for the oral rounds of the Vis Moot. Colloquium (Hybrid)
Following the publication of the Vis Moot Problem, the Firm organized the sixth edition of the White & Case Vis Colloquium on October 17, 2023. Simultaneous events were organized by 11 White & Case offices across the EMEA region: Astana, Brussels, Frankfurt, Geneva, London, Madrid, Milan, Paris, Prague, Stockholm and Warsaw. The Vis Colloquium was held in a hybrid format, with participants attending in person at one of the participating offices, or via videoconference.
The Vis Colloquium involved international arbitration practitioners and academics, who presented tips on researching the issues of the Vis Moot Problem, and offered their experiences in drafting persuasive submissions, and in oral advocacy.
