Biography
Overview
Mikko Hulkko is a partner in the Firm's Capital Markets Group. Mikko has more than 25 years of experience in advising underwriters, shareholders, sponsors and issuers in connection with international capital markets transactions.
Mikko's recent capital markets work has been mainly in international capital markets transactions of Nordic corporates and financial institutions. His extensive experience covers both equity and debt transactions. In the ECM area, he has advised on a broad range of IPOs, secondary offerings, PIPE offerings and block trades. In the DCM area, he has significant experience in Eurobonds, Hybrid Bonds, Equity-linked Notes, Euro Private Placements, EMTN and USMTN programs for Nordic issuers. In addition, Mikko advises clients on public-to-private situations.
As a member of the New York and Finnish Bars, Mikko also advises clients frequently on general corporate and securities law matters, including compliance with US federal securities laws and Finnish company and securities laws.
Mikko is ranked in Band 1 in Capital Markets by Chambers Global/Europe 2020-2023.
He is an active participant in discussions surrounding international capital markets and a frequent contributor to the Firm's industry alerts.

Representation of DNB Markets and SEB as joint global coordinators, and Danske Bank, Nordea and Swedbank as joint bookrunners, on the SEK 3.5 billion IPO and listing on Nasdaq First North Premier Growth Market of Sveafastigheter, a Sweden-based residential real estate company.
Representation of Bryan, Garnier & Co as sole global coordinator and, together with Handelsbanken Capital Markets, as joint bookrunners on the SEK 300 million directed share issue by Egetis Therapeutics AB (publ), a pharmaceutical company focusing on projects in late-stage development for commercialization for treatments of serious diseases with significant unmet medical needs in the orphan drug segment listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm main market.
Representation of SEB and Nordea on the SEK 1.125 billion directed share issue by Vitec Software Group, a leading vertical software provider listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
