White & Case advises Hameur on investment by Ardian of majority stake in RobotCoupe and Magimix

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the Luxembourg group Hameur on a partnership agreement with Ardian through which Ardian will take a majority stake in Robot Coupe and Magimix, the food processor and cooking accessories brands.

"White & Case has advised Hameur on this landmark cross-border transaction, one of the largest deals in the Luxembourg market this year," said White & Case partner Thierry Bosly, who led the Firm's deal team. "Hameur trusted us to advise on both the corporate and financing aspects of the deal."

The transaction combines Robot Coupe and Magimix into one Luxembourg company.

Hameur, privately owned, acquired Robot Coupe and Magimix in 1988 as sole owner. The industrial companies have more than 250 employees and an international brand presence in 130 countries.

Ardian is one of the largest independent private equity house with assets of approximately US$150 billion under management in Europe, the Americas and Asia.
