Overview

Anaïs is an associate in the EMEA private equity team of our Global Mergers & Acquisitions practice at White & Case. 

Fluent in French and English, Anaïs is at ease navigating both domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, as well as private equity and venture capital matters and restructuring operations, on behalf of multinational clients, including investment funds, investment banks, entrepreneurs, industrials, listed and non-listed companies, and distressed companies. 

Anaïs has recently worked on several M&A, Restructuring and Private Equity transactions.

Anaïs joined the Firm in September 2021.

Representation of Mosa Meat, a start-up entity involved in research and development activities in the field of tissue engineering aimed at producing cultured meat in its 40M million convertible bonds financing.

Representation of UKIO, a leading start up offering solution in Europe for monthly rentals, corporate housing, and property management in its Series B financing.

Representation of INATO a start up specialized in support and software publishing platform dedicated on life science companies in the set up and conduct of their clinical trials its Series B financing.

Representation of Providence Equity Partners (Providence) on its sale of a 50 percent stake in Globeducate to Wendel, a French investment company.

Representation of the Vallourec Group, a world leader in premium tubular solutions, in connection with its refinancing which involved a new 5-year €550 million multi-currency revolving facility, an upsized and extended 5-year US$350 million asset-based facility and US$820 million senior note.

Representation of Luxembourg group Hameur on a partnership agreement with Ardian through which Ardian will take a majority stake in Robot Coupe and Magimix, the food processor and cooking accessories brands.

Representation of Geopost SA, Europe's largest parcel delivery network and a subsidiary of La Poste Group, on the sale of its delivery platform Stuart (SRT Group) to the international investment fund Mutares.

Representation of Banque des Territoires (Caisse des Dépôts Group) on its acquisition of a 34 percent stake in JP Energie Environnement (JPee), a French independent producer of renewable energy which has been involved in the development, financing, construction and operation of wind farms and photovoltaic (PV) power stations in France since 2004.

Representation of Regnology Group GmbH (Regnology), a portfolio company of Nordic Capital, on the acquisition of Invoke from private equity investors ISAI Expansion and Sagard NewGen as well as Invoke's CEO Raphael de Talhouet.

Representation of Luko, a leading online insurer, on its sale to Admiral Group, a FTSE100-listed international financial services company, to create a leader in the online insurance market. 

Representation of Tikehau Ace Capital Partners, a private portfolio investment management company in connection with its investment, through its fund Brienne III, in Yogosha, through a share capital increase.

Representation of growth equity investment funds Revaia and Digital+, lead investors in the US$140 million Series D fundraising by Platform.sh, a unified, secure, enterprise-grade platform for building, running and scaling web applications.

Representation of Altitude Infrastructure, the first independent Fiber-to-the-Home player in France:

  • on its acquisition of infrastructure fund Quaero Capital's stake in the two major fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) concessions of the Grand Est region: Rosace Fibre and Losange Fibre.
  • on acquisition from Altice/XPFibre and Covage, a wholesale fibre operator in France, of 26 public and private fibre networks (€1,1Bn EV);
  • on investments by a fund managed by Swiss Life Asset Management AG, CalsTRS and UBS AM in the capital of Altitude Infrastructure THD at €1,2Bn value;
  • and its sole shareholder, Altitude Infrastructure Holding, in a € 900M acquisition and project financings (Brookfield, Schroders and Société Générale); and
  • in connection with the financing of two fiber networks through AMEL.

Representation of Goldman Sachs Growth as lead investor in a Series D fund raising into French robotics company, Exotec.

Representation of Vallourec's ad hoc group of bondholders and RCF, led by Apollo, SVP, Bybrook and M&G, on the negotiation of an Agreement in Principle reached as part of the financial restructuring of Vallourec, world leader in premium tubular solutions for the energy markets and for demanding industrial applications.

Representation of Goldman Sachs and Eurazeo, as lead investors in Malt, on its €70 million series D fundraising. Other investors are Isaï and Serena (already shareholders of Malt).
