Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised private equity firm Summit Partners and other shareholders, including management, on the sale of CluePoints SA to EQT.

Summit Partners, an investor in CluePoints since 2020, and Clinimetrics SA, a co-founder of CluePoints, will retain minority stakes with participation in this funding round. The transaction is expected to close early in the third quarter of 2024.

CluePoints is a provider of AI-based software for risk-based monitoring and data quality oversight of clinical trial studies.  In recent years CluePoints has generated significant growth, building a robust go-to-market function, launching new products and diversifying into new markets.

The White & Case team which advised on the transaction included partners Michael Immordino (London and Milan), Leonardo Graffi (Milan and London), Tony Brown, Emmie Jones (both London) and Carlo Meert (Brussels), local partner Philippe Hendrickx (Brussels), associates Elena Ruggiu (London), Mariasole Maschio, Francesco Abbadessa (both Milan) and Nick Hallemeesch (Brussels), and lawyer Nicola Acconcia (Milan). A separate White & Case team advised CluePoints management and included partners Mike Weir and Tom Clarke and associate Joey Lim (all London).
