Overview

Nicola Acconcia is member of the White & Case Italian practice. His main areas of practice are Corporate M&A and Private Equity.

Prior joining White & Case in January 2023 Nicola practiced as a legal intern in another major international law firm in Milan working in the Banking & Finance department. Nicola graduated at the Università degli Studi di Roma Tre with the thesis " Risk allocation in M&A agreements: an economic and comparative analysis". He was also selected as a scholarship winner for "US‑Italy Dual Degree Law Program" attending as juris doctor candidate the Nova Southeastern University in Florida.

Experience

Equiter Infrastructure II, a fund managed by Ersel AM, in connection with its acquisition of Deenova Group, an Italian company and European leader in providing automation and traceability solutions for hospitals, from HIG Capital. The transaction also involves Amundi Private Equity Italia joining the shareholding structure, in partnership with Deenova's founder Sergio Giglio.

Private equity firm Summit Partners and other shareholders, including management, in connection with the sale of CluePoints SA to EQT. CluePoints is a provider of AI-based software for risk-based monitoring and data quality oversight of clinical trial studies. Summit Partners, an investor in CluePoints since 2020, and Clinimetrics SA, a co-founder of CluePoints, will retain minority stakes.

A pool of lenders in connection with a senior unsecured term and revolving facilities agreement for an aggregate principal amount up to €325 million and up to US$80 million, granted to a world's leading manufacturer of chemical products for the building industry.

Italia Trasporto Aereo S.p.A., wholly-owned by the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, in connection with the issuance of US$80 million secured notes due 2034 by its newly-established Irish special purpose vehicle to refinance the acquisition of an Airbus A330neo aircraft.

BPER Banca S.p.A. in connection with a €20 million financing to B.F. S.p.A. (Bonifiche Ferraresi) for general corporate purposes.
