Overview

Yannick is a partner in White & Case's Global Capital Markets Practice.

Yannick advises clients, including banks, private equity houses and major corporations, on high-yield bond offerings, public and private debt and equity transactions (including liability management transactions) as well as mergers, acquisitions and related corporate transactions. He also has significant experience in other debt finance as well as restructuring transactions.

Prior to joining White & Case, Yannick worked for a renowned US law firm in New York and London, with a particular focus on capital markets transactions, including cross border high yield debt and equity offerings, and mergers and acquisitions.

Experience

Advised a bank syndicate of initial purchasers, led by Deutsche Bank and J.P. Morgan SE, on the issuance of various financial instruments by Mangrove LuxCo III S.à r.l. and its subsidiaries for the early and full repayment of Kelvion's existing restructuring liabilities.

Advised a banking syndicate of initial purchasers, led by BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan and Société Générale, on CECONOMY AG's €500 million issuance of sustainability-linked senior notes due 2029.

Advised Adler Group S.A. and its subsidiaries on the agreement with a steering committee of bondholders supporting a comprehensive recapitalization of the Group.

Advised Delivery Hero SE (Delivery Hero) on the US$950 million cash sale of its foodpanda business in Taiwan to Uber Technologies, Inc. (Uber), and on a separate US$300 million cash capital increase, fully subscribed by Uber, through its wholly-owned subsidiary SMB Holding Corporation.

Advised Delivery Hero SE on extending the maturity of its existing US$813 million and €300 million term loans, raising additional term loans with an aggregate amount of approximately €740 million equivalent, increasing its existing revolving credit facility to €500 million and borrower-friendly amendments to the loan terms.

Advised Adler Group S.A. and its subsidiaries on its successful restructuring, which included amendments to the terms and conditions of certain of its bonds with an aggregate nominal amount of €3.2 billion and the provision of up to €937.5 million of new money funding.

Advised on high-yield debt offerings (representing either the initial purchasers or the issuer) of Benteler Group, Braas Monier, Burford Capital Limited, Dufry, Consolidated Energy Finance S.A. (a Proman subsidiary), Hess Midstream Partners, Jewel UK Bondco (an Apollo Global Management special purpose vehicle), Lowell, Löwen Play, Platin 1426. (a Blackstone special purpose vehicle), PrestigeBidCo (a Permira debt vehicle), Rossini (a CVC Capital Partners debt vehicle), Vista Outdoor and Yell.

Advised on term loan financings of Consolidated Energy Finance S.A. (a Proman subsidiary) and Delivery Hero SE.

Advised on investment grade debt offerings (representing either the underwriters or the issuer) of AXIS, Baker Hughes, Enstar, KLA-Tencor, Level 3, Naspers, Prosus and Uniti.

Advised on IPOs for Deutsche Pfandbriefbank, innogy and Knorr-Bremse, and other equity offerings for HDFC Bank and Kion.

Advised Linde on its $70 billion merger of equals with Praxair.

Advised Naspers on a share exchange transaction with Ctrip.com.

Advised Novartis on the $29.8 billion spin-off of Alcon.
