White & Case wins “National Law Firm of the Year” in France, a “Deal of the Year” and two “Impact Deal Awards” at IFLR Europe Awards 2025

Global law firm White & Case LLP has been named "National Law Firm of the Year" in France at the IFLR Europe Awards 2025. The awards recognize "the most innovative cross-border deals closed in Europe in 2024, and the law firms, legal teams and lawyers behind them."

IFLR also recognized the following transaction the Firm advised on as a 2025 "Deal of the Year":

  • Deal of the Year: Equity - Athens International Airport IPO

    White & Case advised Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF), as selling shareholder, on the IPO and listing on the Athens Stock Exchange of Athens International Airport. This deal is Greece's largest IPO in 20 years.

Additionally, IFLR recognized the following two transactions the Firm advised on as 2025 "Impact Deal Awards":

  • Impact Deal Award: Adler Group restructuring

    White & Case advised the Adler Group on its restructuring and recapitalization, related litigation and regulatory matters and various sales and refinancing transactions, including its most recent refinancing of 1L and 1.5L bonds.

  • Impact Deal Award: Ukraine-Ukravtodor bond restructuring

    White & Case advised the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine on the restructuring of approximately US$20.5 billion of Ukraine's international bonds and the sovereign-guaranteed debt obligations of the State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure (Ukravtodor).

Firm counsel of the Prague office, Petr Šmerkl, was also recognized as a national Rising Star.
