Overview
Joe Barnes is an associate in our global Real Estate industry group based in London.
Joe advises international and domestic clients on complex commercial real estate-focused transactions, including real estate investment acquisitions and disposals, real estate developments, landlord and tenant work, the property aspects of corporate and private equity transactions and cross-border transactions.
Before joining White & Case, Joe was an associate in the Real Estate team of a leading global law firm.

Joe's recent representative experience includes the following:
Advising a sale and leaseback focused fund on the acquisition (and leaseback) of various industrial sites across the UK.*
Advising a REIT on the real estate aspects of its corporate acquisition of a European data centre portfolio.*
Advising an international infrastructure fund on the real estate aspects of its UK data centre investments.*
Advising an asset manager on the acquisition of student accommodation and BTR schemes in the UK.*
Advising a pension fund on the forward funding of student accommodation developments in the UK.*
