Overview
Jan-Christopher Wilhelms is an Associate in White & Case's Global Capital Markets Practice.
Jan-Christopher advises clients on initial public offerings, rights issues and secondary offerings, cross-border high-yield and corporate bonds as well as hybrid financing instruments. Additionally, he advises on capital markets compliance and general corporate finance matters.
His clients include domestic and international issuers, underwriters, financial investors and shareholders.
Prior to joining the Firm as an Associate in 2023, Jan-Christopher gained several years of experience as a trainee lawyer and research assistant in capital markets law with White & Case as well as in corporate and capital markets law at two other major international law firms in Frankfurt.

Advised a bank syndicate of initial purchasers, led by Deutsche Bank and J.P. Morgan SE, on the issuance of various financial instruments by Mangrove LuxCo III S.à r.l. and its subsidiaries for the early and full repayment of Kelvion's existing restructuring liabilities.
Kelvion Group (2024)
Advised a bank syndicate of initial purchasers, led by Deutsche Bank and J.P. Morgan SE, on the issuance of €475 million senior secured floating rate notes due 2029 as well as a syndicated €170 million super senior guarantee facility and a syndicated super senior revolving facility of €65 million by Mangrove LuxCo III S.à r.l. and its subsidiaries for the early and full repayment of Kelvion's existing restructuring liabilities.
