White & Case Advises Nestlé Health Science on Acquisition of Mevalia and Comidamed Brands

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Nestlé Health Science (NHSc) on the acquisition of the Mevalia® and Comidamed® brands from Dr. Schär AG. 

The business operated under the two brands in, among others, Italy, Russia, the UK and Spain, and the production facility in Rosbach, Germany will be acquired by NHSc's business unit Vitaflo. The parties have agreed not to disclose financial details of the transaction.

Switzerland-based NHSc is a globally managed business unit of Nestlé and employs more than 7,000 people worldwide. Its products are available in more than 140 countries.

The acquired brands Mevalia® and Comidamed® are used for dietary management of inborn errors of metabolism and cow’s milk protein allergy, complementing Vitaflo’s existing product portfolio and expanding its global footprint.
