White & Case advises lenders on refinancing of Triton’s portfolio company Trench

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the lenders, led by HSBC, ING and Morgan Stanley, on the successful refinancing of Trench Group GmbH's existing debt capital structure.  

Trench Group GmbH is a global provider of components and systems for high voltage power transmission and a Triton portfolio company. The refinancing includes a long-term syndicated loan (term loan B) with a volume of €380 million, a revolving credit facility of €130 million and a guarantee facility of €75 million.

The funds will be used, among other things, to refinance existing debt. In addition, the new financing structure is designed to support the company's future growth, particularly through investments in production capacities as well as research and development.
