Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised TPG Real Estate on the €470 million sale to funds managed by Blackstone of CT Real Estate (CTRE), a portfolio of ten logistics parks located in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
"White & Case has played a role in the CTRE success story since the initial investment in 2019 through growth and bolt-on acquisitions and up to the exit," said White & Case partner Petr Pánek, who co-led the Firm's deal team. "This transaction showcases our cross-border M&A capabilities, combined with depth of expertise in private equity and real estate."
This transaction is one of the largest real estate deals in Europe this year. White & Case previously advised TPG in 2019 on its original acquisition in partnership with local landlord Contera. The portfolio was seeded with an initial €90 million investment and has since quadrupled in size to span approximately 500,000 square meters of strategically located logistics facilities.
The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partners Mike Weir (London) and Petr Pánek (Prague) and local partner Karel Petržela (Prague), and included partners Václav Kubr and Jan Linda, counsel Magda Olyšarová and Vladimír Ivančo and associates Barbora Vaculová, Kateřina Hudečková (both Prague), Zack Trumper and Serena Howard (both London).
