White & Case advises Camtek on US$100 million acquisition of FormFactor's semiconductor metrology business

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Camtek Ltd. on its agreement to acquire the FRT Metrology business (FRT) from California-based FormFactor Inc. for an all-cash purchase price of US$100 million, subject to customary adjustments.
Headquartered in Israel and listed on the Nasdaq Global Market, Camtek is a developer and manufacturer of inspection and measurement equipment for the semiconductor industry. FRT, headquartered in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, is a supplier of high-precision metrology solutions for the Advanced Packaging and Silicon Carbide markets. With the addition of FRT's unique hybrid multi-sensor SurfaceSens™ technology, Camtek will be able to offer broader and more comprehensive inspection and metrology solutions to its customers.
