White & Case advises Battery Ventures on acquisition of steute

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the international private equity investor Battery Ventures (Battery) on the acquisition of steute Technologies GmbH & Co. KG (steute), a developer and manufacturer of switches, sensors and other products for medical and industrial applications.

Battery was founded in 1983 and has six offices worldwide. It invests in companies in software and services, enterprise infrastructure, online marketplaces, healthcare IT and industrial technology at all stages of financing, from seed and early stage to growth and buyout.

steute is a globally active company with more than 450 employees based in Löhne, Germany. Its product range includes certified medical control units that are used in operating theatres around the world.

White & Case recently advised Battery-backed Proemion Holding GmbH, a global provider of advanced data and analytics technology for mobile industrial equipment, on its acquisition of TrendMiner NV, an industrial analytics company owned by Software AG.
