White & Case advises Astarte Capital Partners on close of Silvipar Astarte Impact Forestry Fund

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised real assets-focused investment firm Astarte Capital Partners on the close of Silvipar Astarte Impact Forestry Fund (SAIFF), which was raised in conjunction with Silvipar AB, a Swedish forestry development and management company.

SAIFF closed at US$325.3 million in capital commitments, significantly in excess of its initial target of US$200 million. SAIFF is targeting a portfolio of more than 80,000 hectares of land in Paraguay with the intention of planting approximately 60 million trees and generating in excess of 18 million tonnes of carbon sequestration. SAIFF has protected 25 percent of the land for conservation purposes, with the aim of driving significant ecosystem benefits in Paraguay. More information can be found here.
