Antitrust

Graduates in this team can expect to receive support with advising clients on all aspects of competition and consumer law matters—including cartel conduct, misuse of market power, anti-competitive agreements, and exclusive dealing.

Corporate/M&A

(You) can expect to support associates and partners on a variety of tasks, including corporate governance and regulatory research, assisting with the drafting of transaction documents and coordinating work streams in the lead-up to completion (of a deal).

Debt Finance

Graduates can expect to see multiple deals from start to finish. They will quickly become familiar with security and finance documents, the whitewash process, corporate authorisations and closing a transaction.

Disputes

You will be given responsibility for a wide range of tasks, spanning drafting and document analysis, legal research, correspondence and court documents preparation.

Financial Restructuring & Insolvency

Graduates work on a range of tasks that span advisory, transactional and litigation. You will be involved in the drafting of advice memos, contract and security reviews, the preparation of completion checklists and transaction documents, the preparation of briefs to counsel and various court documents, and legal research.

Land, environment & planning

As a graduate, you will research complex and novel legal questions, draft advice and agreements, brief counsel and experts, and prepare for public hearings.

Project delivery

Graduates often help review and draft large project documents such as engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts.

Project finance

As a transaction progresses, you often get involved in the conditions precedent process, such as reviewing or preparing the first draft of shareholder resolutions, board minutes, security documents and legal opinions.

Tax

As a graduate, you will be given the opportunity to undertake such tasks as tax and case law research, drafting memoranda and drafting court documents in relation to tax disputes.
