Renata Ryglová
Biography
Overview
Renata Ryglová focuses on the energy sector, public procurement and intellectual property law.
In the energy sector, Renata regularly advises on regulatory issues, as well as on administrative proceedings pending before administrative authorities in the Czech Republic. In regard to this sector, she is frequently involved in advising a number of major clients of the Prague office.
In addition, Ms. Ryglová regularly assists clients with intellectual property law issues, mainly in connection with the trademarks and copyright.
She has been also involved in a number of due diligence exercises in connection with the acquisition of Czech and foreign companies.
Renata is a member of the ALAI – an international organization of lawyers focusing on intellectual property law. She also regularly publishes articles focused on intellectual property issues.
Before joining White & Case in 2014, Renata also worked as an intern at the Prague Municipal Court and in a Czech law firm, where she gained experience in the area of administrative and intellectual property law, in particular.

The Czech Ministry of Transport before and during a tender for the selection of a concessionaire for the PPP D4 project, which is a first ever infrastructure/road PPP project in the Czech Republic to successfully reach financial close.
NET4GAS
Representing NET4GAS, acting as the gas TSO in the Czech Republic, in connection with (i) the construction of several gas pipelines designed to increase the gas transmission capacity available in the Czech Republic, and (ii) the obtainment of third party access and ownership unbundling exemptions under the applicable EU legislation.

Energo-Pro, a leading electricity distribution and hydropower generation company in the Black Sea region, on the offering of USD 435 million 8.500% Guaranteed Notes due 2027 and the related tender offer in respect of its EUR 370 million 4.00%.

ČEZ Distribuce, a. s., the distribution system operator in the Czech Republic, in relation to public procurement issues, particularly in connection with the preparation of tender documentation, the assessment and evaluation of bids, and dealing with objections.
