Overview
Kian is an associate in the Project Development and Finance Group in the London office.
Kian advises lenders, borrowers and sponsors across a spectrum of project and acquisition finance transactions, with a specific emphasis on major energy and infrastructure project financing in Australia.
Kian also spent six months on secondment to Fotowatio Renewable Ventures as junior support for its general counsel.
Experience
Acquisition of stake in National Grid's gas transmission and metering business
Representation of Macquarie Asset Management on its acquisition of a 60 percent stake in National Grid plc's UK gas transmission and metering business in a consortium with institutional investors.
Black Sea Trade Development Bank loan to Energean
Representation of Energean Oil & Gas S.A. on the provision of a loan from the Black Sea Trade Development Bank, which is supported by a guarantee and subordinated loan from the Greek State.
