Overview
Juliesa is an associate in White & Case's Americas Debt Finance Group in the Firm's Houston office. Her experience includes the representation of private equity funds, financial institutions and commercial borrowers in financial transactions of all types, including acquisition financings, syndicated financings, reserve-based financings, reorganizations, workouts and debt restructurings.
Prior to joining White & Case, Juliesa was an associate in the Dallas office of another leading global law firm. Juliesa graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Management in Legal Studies in Business and in Management from Tulane University before graduating from Vanderbilt University Law School.
Experience
Representation of lenders in subscription-secured credit facilities ranging from US$50 million to US$1.3 billion.*
Representation of lenders and borrowers in middle market revolving, term, and letter of credit loan facilities ranging from US$2.5 million to US$128 milion.*
Represented Valaris plc and its subsidiaries in their prearranged Chapter 11 cases. Valaris is the world’s largest offshore driller by fleet size, operating in every major offshore hydrocarbon basin throughout the globe. The restructuring provided Valaris with a strengthened capital structure, eliminating $7.1 billion of debt and securing a $520 million capital injection by issuing $550 million of new secured notes.*
Represented multiple debtors in connection with the debtor-in-possession credit facilities and exit credit facilities for their Chapter 11 filings, including Parker Drilling Company and Bristow Group Inc.*
