Cecily is an associate in White & Case's Dispute Resolution group in London. Cecily practises in cross-border commercial litigation and international arbitration. Since qualifying in 2019, Cecily’s work has focused on sovereign clients. She has also acted for clients in the private equity, financial services, pharmaceutical and oil and gas sectors.

Experience

Acting for an African State in a highly-publicized US$2 billion dispute regarding a fraud, bribery, and corruption scandal.

Representing Adler Group S.A. and its subsidiaries in their successful application to sanction an English Restructuring Plan under Part 26A of the Companies Act 2006, in relation to bond debt in excess of €3.2 billion.

Acting for Greensill Bank AG and Dr. Michael C. Frege, in his capacity as Insolvency Administrator of Greensill Bank AG, in English Court proceedings in respect of a contractual dispute involving the transfer of notes relevant to insurance-related litigation in Australia.

Acting for a private equity investment vehicle in LCIA arbitration proceedings relating to the operation of drag-along provisions in a shareholders' agreement, which focused, in particular, on whether the proposed purchaser was a "bona fide third party" in the context of a private equity structure.
