Biography

Overview

Camellia is an Associate in our Global M&A and Corporate practice based in Dubai and is also a member of our EMEA Private Equity team.

Camellia advises clients including private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds, corporates, other financial sponsors and alternative capital providers on a range of transactions including acquisitions, joint ventures, equity investments and co-investments, disposals and other corporate matters.

Camellia previously spent two years in our Riyadh office where she worked with several Saudi Government entities, PIF, PIF subsidiaries and giga projects.

Prior to joining White & Case, Camellia was one of the founding members of the legal team in AMAALA Company, a Vision 2030 giga-project under the Public Investment Fund of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  During her time at AMAALA, she worked on legal transactions relating to AMAALA's position in several different legal, governance and operational matters.

Representative experience includes:

Representation of Titan Wealth Holdings Limited in relation to their acquisition of AHR Group, an international financial planning and wealth management firm with multi-subsidiaries.

Representation of a Middle East sovereign wealth fund in relation to their securities and regulatory filings.

Representation of Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (SALIC) on the acquisition of a 44.58% stake in Olam Agri Holdings Limited for c. US$1.8 billion.

Representation of Spinneys 1961 Holding PLC (Spinneys), a leading retail supermarket operator in the United Arab Emirates and Oman, on its listing on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).

Representation of a large integrated energy services company in the UAE in relation to their re-domiciliation and other corporate advisory matters.
