White & Case advises Finnforel on development of advanced fish farming and processing facility in Abu Dhabi

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Finnforel on the development of an advanced fish farming and processing facility in Abu Dhabi.
Finnforel has signed an agreement with Abu Dhabi-based investment company ADQ to collaborate on the development of a land-based fish farming facility with a capacity of 3,000 tons annually in the UAE. The facility will utilize Finnforel’s solutions to cultivate rainbow trout year-round in stable, safe and clean indoor conditions.
Founded in 2015, Finnforel is an aquaculture technology company headquartered in Finland.
The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partners Victor Åberg and Sten Olsson (both Helsinki) and included partner Marcus Booth (Dubai, London), local partner Mathias Bogusch (Frankfurt) and associates Asta Tukiainen, Liselotte Grönlund (both Helsinki) and Camellia Homampour (Dubai).
