Biography
Overview
Baptiste Ferraud is an associate in the EMEA Private-Equity / Mergers & Acquisition practice at White & Case.
Fluent in French and English, Baptiste is at ease navigating both domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, involving listed and non-listed companies, as well as private equity transactions and restructuring operations of distressed companies.
Baptiste advises multinational clients, including investment funds, investment banks, industrials, French and foreign listed and non-listed companies, and distressed companies.
Prior to joining White & Case in 2021, Baptiste worked at several other high-profile international law firms based in Paris.
He is also a lecturer in corporate law at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

Representation of the Altice Group on the conclusion of a framework agreement with the majority of its creditors holding term loans and senior secured notes at the level of Altice France SA, as well as certain creditors holding senior notes at the level of the parent company Altice France Holding SA, for the restructuring of its €24.1 billion existing debt.
Goldman Sachs (2024)
Representation of Goldman Sachs, shareholders of Younited, on the signing of a business combination agreement between Iris Financial, a Euronext Amsterdam-listed company focused on the financial services sector and Younited S.A., in connection with a contemplated business combination. Younited will be listed on Euronext Amsterdam and Euronext Paris upon completion of the Combination.

Representation of H.I.G. WhiteHorse, a credit subsidiary of global investment firm H.I.G. Capital, on a unitranche financing for Elyan Partners' acquisition of a majority stake in Stordata, an independent expert in data and virtualization, combining consulting, transformation management, administration and maintenance of data security and management systems.
Technique Solaire (2023)
Representation of Technique Solaire, a French independent producer of renewable energies, and its founders on a €200 million capital increase raised from its historical financial shareholders Bpifrance and a pool of investors from the Crédit Agricole Group.
