Biography

Overview

Arianna Talaie is a law clerk in the Firm's International Trade Group and an active member of the Economic Sanctions and Export Controls team. She has experience advising clients on compliance with US sanctions and export controls laws and regulations administered by the US Department of Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC") and the US Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security ("BIS"). She also has experience conducting trade due diligence in transactional matters.

Arianna has previously assisted in the resolution of complex international disputes, in particular investment treaty arbitrations and international commercial arbitrations. Arianna has experience representing international investors in disputes under the rules of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes ("ICSID") and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law ("UNCITRAL") pursuant to bilateral investment treaties, free trade agreements, and multilateral treaties. She has served multinational clients in the oil and gas infrastructure, power, and energy industries, including in the renewable energy sector, among others.
