Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Swedish investment company Valedo on its divestment of Joe & the Juice Holding A/S to the existing shareholder General Atlantic, a New York-headquartered global growth equity investor.
Valedo is a growth-oriented Swedish investment company that invests in small and mid-cap companies in the Nordic region.
Joe & the Juice is an urban juice bar and coffee shop which operates over 360 stores worldwide. Founded in 2002, the company sells freshly prepared juices, shakes, sandwiches and coffee, using natural and organic ingredients sourced from growers directly.
The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partner Jan Jensen (Stockholm) and included partners Rebecca Farrington (Washington, DC) and Michael Engel (London) and associate Allain Andry (Washington, DC).
