White & Case Advises Shareholders Davidson Kempner and Triton Partners on VIA Location's Sale to FRAIKIN

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Davidson Kempner and Triton Partners as shareholders on the sale of VIA Location Group, a provider of fleet management solutions for industrial vehicles, to FRAIKIN Group, a leader in long term leasing of commercial and industrial vehicles in Europe.

The new Group, comprising FRAIKIN and VIA Location, will approach €1 billion in turnover and will position itself as a leading operator in the truck rental sector in France and Europe. 

The Autorité de la Concurrence (the French national competition regulator) approved FRAIKIN Group's acquisition of VIA Location on September 23, 2020.

The White & Case team in Paris which advised on the transaction was led by partners Guillaume Vallat and Saam Golshani and included partners Denise Diallo, Yann Utzschneider, Alexandre Jaurett and Estelle Philippi, counsel Orion Berg and associates Julien Etchegaray, Emmanuel Chevignon, Alicia Bali, Roman Picherack, Bettina de Catalogne and Dany Luu.
