White & Case Advises Redwood Capital Management, LLC, MSD Partners, L.P., and Affiliates on the Purchase of US$40 Million of Series A Senior Preferred Stock Issued by American Public Education, Inc.

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Redwood Capital Management, LLC, MSD Partners, L.P., and their respective affiliates, on the purchase of US$40 million of Series A Senior Preferred Stock issued by American Public Education, Inc. ("APEI").

APEI intends to use a portion of the net proceeds from the sale of the Series A Senior Preferred Stock, along with available cash, to repay a portion of the outstanding principal balance of its outstanding term loans and for general corporate purposes.
