Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised on two multi-billion US dollar Polish defense contracts with the Ministry of National Defense of Poland (the MND):
- Advising Hanwha Defense Co., Ltd, the largest defense company in South Korea, on the framework contract signed with the MND on July 27, 2022 for the supply of K9 self-propelled howitzers to the Polish army, and the first executive contract signed with the MND on August 26, 2022. The signed executive contract implements the first phase of the framework contract.
- Advising South Korean aerospace and defense company Korea Aerospace Industries Ltd. on the negotiation and signing of two executive contracts with the MND in September 2022 for the supply of FA-50 aircraft to the Polish air force.
