White & Case Advises Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust on Acquisition of Polish Onshore Wind Farms

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust plc on the acquisition of two in-construction onshore wind farms in Poland from the PNE Group, a German developer of wind projects across Europe.
Construction of the 'Krzecin' wind farm in the north west of Poland and the 'Kuslin' wind farm in western Poland, with a combined capacity of 58.8 MW, commenced during Q4 2020 and these projects are expected to be commissioned in Q4 2021 and in mid-2022, respectively. The projects are financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and BayernLB.
This is the second transaction on which White & Case has advised the entities managed by Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust in recent months in relation to the acquisition of a wind farms portfolio in Poland.
