Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Nordic Capital on the agreement with management and technology consulting firm BearingPoint to acquire BearingPoint RegTech (RegTech).
Nordic Capital is a leading private equity investor with a focus on selected regions and sectors, including healthcare, technology & payments, financial services, and selectively, industrial and business services. It has invested over €15 billion since its inception in 1989 and has local advisory offices in Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Norway, the UK and the US.
Founded over 25 years ago, RegTech is a leading European provider of unique software solutions across the regulatory value chain. It is a market leader in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with over 6,000 customers including banks, insurance companies, supervisory authorities and financial services providers. Headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, RegTech operates 17 offices across ten countries with a total workforce of approximately 630 employees and is expected to generate revenues of close to €100 million in 2020.
