White & Case Advises Joint Global Coordinators and Managers on €273 Million IPO and listing of Puuilo Plc

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Carnegie Investment Bank AB and Danske Bank A/S, as joint global coordinators, and Nordea Bank Abp and OP Corporate Bank plc, as managers, on the initial public offering (IPO) and listing on the official list of Nasdaq Helsinki of the shares in Puuilo Plc.
At the offer price, Puuilo Plc had a market capitalization of approximately €560 million.
Puuilo Plc is one of the leading department store chains in Finland with more than 30 department stores throughout the country in addition to its online presence. Puuilo is known for its low prices and wide product range that includes building materials, tools, car accessories, garden accessories, plumbing and electrical accessories, pet supplies, household goods, groceries and leisure equipment.
The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partner Mikko Hulkko (Helsinki) and included partners Petri Avikainen (Helsinki) and Chad McCormick (Houston), counsel Doron Loewinger (London) and associates Jenni Nygård, Heidi Hietanen, Ben Tuiskula, Liisa Rekola (all Helsinki) and Kyle Ezzedine (New York).
