White & Case Advises Hambro Perks Acquisition Company Limited on IPO - First London SPAC listing since FCA rules change

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Hambro Perks Acquisition Company Limited (HPAC), a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) sponsored by Hambro Perks Limited (Hambro Perks), on its £150 million initial public offering and admission to trading on the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
"The transaction is the first UK SPAC listing on the LSE with a structure reflecting the Financial Conduct Authority's new SPAC rules and an important milestone in the London market," said White & Case partner Allan Taylor, who led the Firm's deal team. "Our role advising Hambro Perks on this major development demonstrates White & Case's globally renowned SPAC practice and our ability to support clients with their strategic ambitions in this area."
International investment firm Hambro Perks was founded in 2013 with the aim of providing capital and hands-on support to innovative and fast-growing technology-enabled companies. HPAC will target a business combination with technology companies in the UK and EEA.
Since June 2020, White & Case has advised on more than 100 SPAC IPOs and 40 business combination transactions for SPACs and target companies. White & Case is the first law firm to advise on a SPAC listing in the UK since the FCA changed its listing rules in July 2021 in respect of SPACs following Lord Hill's Listing Review.
