Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised private equity fund FCDE (Fonds de Consolidation et de Développement des Entreprises) on the signing of an agreement with CNIM and Equitis Gestion for the acquisition of Bertin Technologies, a company that specialises in the development and integration of scientific instrument systems.
Following the acquisition, FCDE will become the majority shareholder alongside the broader management team. The new investment aims to support Bertin Technologies' development and establish the company as a prominent independent equipment manufacturer.
The transaction is expected to close during the first half of 2022, following the approval from the relevant supervisory authorities.
