Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Design Manufacturing S.p.A., Dema Apulia Region S.r.l. and C.A.M. S.r.l. (the Dema Group) on the structuring and filing of an agreement with creditors (concordato preventivo) on a going concern basis, which received approval from the Court of Naples on February 21, 2024 as a result of the court’s positive assessment of the conditions for the cross-class cram down.
Founded in Italy in 1993 and with approximately 500 employees, the Dema Group designs, manufactures and assembles aeronautical structures from its four production plants located in Somma Vesuviana (Naples), Paolisi (Benevento) and Brindisi.
The White & Case team in Milan which advised on the transaction included partners Andrea Novarese and Maria Cristina Storchi and associates Francesco Pirisi and Francesco Abbadessa.
