Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the French national investment bank Bpifrance on its strategic investment in SEQENS, a worldwide leader in the development and production of active ingredients, pharmaceutical intermediates and specialty ingredients.
Bpifrance is investing alongside SK Capital Partners, which becomes the majority shareholder of the group, Nov Santé, management and the historical minority shareholders Mérieux Equity Partners, Ardian and Eximium.
Concurrent with the investment, SEQENS has combined with API development and manufacturing company Wavelength Pharmaceuticals to focus on its strategic activities and is positioned as one of the world's leading players in pharmaceutical solutions and specialty ingredients.
The White & Case team in Paris which advised on the transaction was led by partner Saam Golshani and included partners Alexandre Ippolito and Valérie Ménard and associates Agathe Delalande, Simon Martin-Gousset, Antoine Rueda, Sarah Kouchad and Dany Luu.
