White & Case advises Accelleron on acquisition of Officine Meccaniche Torino

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Accelleron Industries AG (Accelleron) on its acquisition of Officine Meccaniche Torino S.p.A. (OMT).

The acquisition of OMT, which is expected to be finalised in the next few weeks, contributes to Accelleron's growth strategy and reinforces its position as a leading innovator in the development of alternative fuel technologies such as hydrogen, methanol and ammonia for large marine engines and other heavy-duty applications.

Accelleron is a global leader in turbocharging technologies and digital solutions that make engines more powerful and efficient, while also reducing emissions. With an installed base of approximately 180,000 turbochargers and a network of more than 100 service stations worldwide, Accelleron's products are used in a wide range of sectors including marine, energy and rail.

Headquartered in Torino, Italy, OMT employs approximately 250 people and is one of the world's leading manufacturers of precision fuel injection equipment with a focus on marine propulsion.
