The American Lawyer's Litigation Daily recognized a team from White & Case, led by partner Samuel Hershey, for negotiating a US$9.45 million civil rights settlement with New York City for client Eric DeBerry. This achievement follows the White & Case team's previous successful representation of Mr. DeBerry in vacating his wrongful conviction for first-degree assault and robbery, for which he served more than 20 years in prison.
