Global law firm White & Case LLP has ranked among the most diverse law firms in The American Lawyer's annual Diversity Scorecard. This marks the 16th consecutive year the Firm has featured in the top 10. Coming in second place this year, White & Case received the highest score among its Am Law 50 peers.
"Diversity is a business imperative, so I'm proud to see that our efforts continue to be recognized and that we once again lead the Am Law 10 in this vital arena," said Binoy Dharia, White & Case partner and chair of the Firm's Global Diversity Committee.
The ranking considers the percentage of racial and ethnic diversity across lawyer headcount by role; leadership of the executive committee, offices, and practice and industry groups; and the hiring, retention and promotion of diverse partners. This is the first year the Scorecard tracked the latter metric.
Diversity and inclusion are core values at White & Case. The Firm has received recognition from organizations including the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, for LGBTQ+ workplace equality, and achieved Mansfield Plus certification since 2019, following initial certification in Mansfield’s inaugural year.
