Overview

Yuhan Wang is an associate in White & Case's Silicon Valley office. She provides strategic legal and business advice to clients in various industries. She advises clients on compliance with data privacy and cybersecurity laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and other expanding U.S. state privacy laws. She advises global clients on data privacy and cybersecurity matters that arise in corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, financings, and securities offerings. She helps clients identify data privacy and security issues that may arise in their business operations and products and assists them with the development of privacy programs in the evolving legal landscape. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

Yuhan also represents clients in complex intellectual property matters relating to leading technology companies. She has worked on litigations concerning patents, copyrights, and trade secrets in district and appellate courts. She has worked with clients across a broad range of industries, including computer software, hardware, social media platforms, e-commerce, and pharmaceuticals.

Yuhan is a graduate of Berkeley Law, where she was awarded the Business Law Certificate and the Certificate in Chinese IP Law. She also received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Yuhan is admitted to practice law in California.
