Overview
Yixin (Yish) Gong is a Technology Transactions Partner at White & Case in Silicon Valley, California.
Yish specializes in drafting and negotiating complex IP and technology agreements for clients across diverse industries, from tech and fintech to consumer goods and education, in matters relating to variety of technologies, including AI, big data, e-commerce and platform technologies. She offers legal and commercial advice on a range of commercial agreements, including technology and IP licensing transactions, services agreements, distribution agreement, JV arrangements, and sponsorship agreements. Yish also has experience advising on the technology and IP aspects of M&A transactions and other corporate transactions.
Prior to joining White & Case, Yish worked at the Sydney office of another leading international law firm. Her experience also includes secondments to work as in-house counsel to Meta Platforms.
Dual-qualified in California and Australia, Yish brings an international perspective to her practice. In 2017, she was awarded the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 award in the Commercial category (awarded to the best young lawyers across Australia).

Meta Platforms and WhatsApp in connection with the technology, commerce and product integration deal associated with the US$5.7 billion investment by Meta Platforms into Jio Platforms, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, India's largest telecom operator
Meta Platforms (formerly Facebook) in connection with its new Portal devices and service
