Biography

Overview

Yazmin Judd is an associate in the firm's commercial litigation practice. Yazmin is a specialist construction lawyer with significant experience acting for both public and private sector clients at all stages of infrastructure projects, including in relation to the conduct of formal dispute resolution processes such as litigation and arbitration under the ICC and UNCITRAL rules.

Yazmin was previously the associate to the Honourable Justice Stynes, the judge in charge of the Technology, Engineering and Construction List at the Supreme Court of Victoria.

Experience

Yazmin's experience includes the following:

Acted for Hydro Tasmania in an arbitration arising out of the Basslink subsea cable failure.*

Advised the State of Victoria in relation to disputes arising on a number of major roads projects, including the West Gate Tunnel Project.*

Acted for a Spanish-owned contractor, Acciona Infrastructure, in relation to disputes arising out of its acquisition of Lendlease Engineering, including in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and in expert determination.*
