Tom Enering
Biography
Overview
Tom Enering is an associate in the Firm's Global White Collar Practice Group. He represents multinational corporations and individual executives in connection with prosecutions and investigations by the United States Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, and other US government agencies.
Tom has also been active in the Firm's pro bono practice, including representing wrongfully convicted individuals and a class of low-income debtors challenging wealth-based detention in the City of Ferguson, Missouri.
Tom previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Xavier Rodriguez, United States District Judge for the Western District of Texas. He was also seconded to a major social media company as law enforcement and regulatory counsel.
Tom graduated from Columbia Law School as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. At Columbia Law School, he served as the Executive Editor of the Journal of Transnational Law and externed at the US Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York.
