Overview
Susan Grace is a litigator with extensive experience handling civil cases in state and federal courts across the United States, as well as in various mediation and arbitration forums.
Susie's practice focuses on the defense of complex commercial litigation and securities class actions. She also represents the agencies or instrumentalities of foreign sovereigns, including central banking and financial institutions, in complex cross-border matters. She advises clients in various sectors, including technology, construction, and pharmaceuticals.
Experience
Current representation of Tufin Software Technologies Ltd. in pending securities class action cases in New York state and federal court involving allegations of misrepresentations connected with Tufin's April 2019 IPO.
Current representation of Loma Negra Compañia Industrial Argentina S.A., an Argentine cement manufacturer, in a securities class action filed in the Supreme Court of the State of New York alleging Securities Act violations stemming from a 2017 IPO.
Obtained dismissal of a central banking authority in US federal litigation based on lack of jurisdiction under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act and the doctrine of forum non conveniens.
Obtained dismissal of federal RICO action against the Sweden Tax Authority and the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority and their Director General brought in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Represented ReWalk Robotics Ltd. in parallel putative securities class actions in Massachusetts state and federal courts asserting violations of the Securities Act of 1933 as well as Section 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Successfully obtained dismissal of all claims in both courts and affirmance of the federal court dismissal by the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
