Biography
Overview
Sara Vanetta's area of practice is dispute resolution with a particular focus on insurance law. She has extensive experience in the field of D&O insurance and advises or represents insurance companies and policy holders in this regard. She has written various publications on this topic and also regularly lectures on the related corporate and insolvency law implications.
Furthermore, she advises and represents clients in liability proceedings with a technological background. Especially in the Automotive sector Sara possesses proven expertise.
In addition to that she is also experienced in representing clients in mass actions brought by investors on the grounds of alleged deficiencies in prospectuses and/or investment advice, in particular in connection with life insurance funds. As part of M&A transactions, Sara advises clients on warranty & indemnity insurance matters. Furthermore, Sara Vanetta is a member of the White & Case's EMEA Insurance Group as well as the German Bar Association's insurance working group’s section on international insurance law, insurance supervisory law, reinsurance and industrial insurance law.
