Biography
Overview
Saori is an associate (not admitted in Japan) in the Project Development and Finance Group in Tokyo. Her experience includes project financing and development work, as well as asset finance and corporate M&A.
Prior to joining White & Case, Saori worked in the Tokyo and London offices of an international law firm assisting on various cross-border finance and corporate transactions.
Experience
Saori's experience includes:
KEPCO, EDF and Kyushu Electric on the development and financing of the US$3.8bn Lightning offshore transmission line project in Abu Dhabi; *
INPEX Corporation on its acquisition of a participation in offshore wind projects in the Netherlands; *
an international bank in connection with the financing of solar projects in Japan; *
Asian private equity firms in connection with investment in, and development of, energy transition and infrastructure projects in Japan; *
potential sponsors and investors on the Japanese decarbonization auction and the hydrogen/ammonia government support schemes; and *
financiers and sponsors on various asset financings and refinancings.
