Sandra Huerta is a senior associate in White & Case's International Arbitration Group. She represents and advises multinational corporations and sovereigns in the resolution of high-stakes, cross-border disputes, with a focus on disputes in Latin America. Ms. Huerta works with clients in various industries, including energy, construction, mining, sovereign debt, environment and financial services, among others. Her experience includes investment treaty disputes and commercial arbitration matters before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), including under the UNCITRAL Rules.
Ms. Huerta complements her international arbitration practice with a strong commitment to pro bono, including direct representation matters related to immigration, criminal justice, and veterans' affairs.
Ms. Huerta speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese. She has lived and studied in the United States, Spain and Brazil.
