Overview

Samara Cassar is an Associate in the Firm's International Arbitration practice in Singapore.

Samara has experience in representing a major European renewable energy investment firm in a multimillion dollar dispute concerning offshore wind farms, conducted in accordance with the ICC Rules. She also has experience in assisting in a price review for the long-term sale and purchase of LNG.

Samara's dispute resolution experience is varied, and includes representing clients in class actions, regulatory proceedings brought against financial institutions, insurance disputes and corporate crime investigations.

Prior to her move to Singapore, Samara worked at an international law firm in Australia. Samara has co-authored several publications, including on the subject matter of arbitration.

She graduated from the University of Queensland. There, she served as the Assistant Editor for the Australian Journal of International Law, and the Journal of International Humanitarian Legal Studies. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (International Relations) and a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours.
