Overview

Sahra Nizipli is an associate in the New York office. She is a member of the Technology Transactions Practice, within the Firm's Global M&A Practice Group and Global IP Group. Sahra focuses on transactional matters involving the development, acquisition, transfer, and licensing of intellectual property and information technology in a variety of sectors.

Sahra began her legal career in Turkey, where she practiced for a decade, representing large international clients in complex commercial matters, with particular focus on retail and automotive industries, among others. This robust experience in handling high-stakes transactions across different jurisdictions has provided Sahra with a unique perspective on global business operations and legal frameworks. 

After relocating to the United States, she earned a J.D. from Cornell Law School. Sahra advises clients on transactional matters involving the development, acquisition, transfer, and licensing of intellectual property and information technology in a variety of sectors.

Representation of Alstom, a global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, on its entry into a binding agreement to sell its North American conventional rail signaling business to Knorr-Bremse AG, the world's leading manufacturer of braking systems, for approximately €630 million.

Representation of MNG Havayollari Ve Tasimacilik A.S. (MNG Airlines), a global logistics provider and e-commerce enabler, on its entry into a definitive agreement to become a publicly traded company through a business combination with Golden Falcon Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company, for a pro-forma enterprise value of US$676 million.
