Overview

Rosie Norwood-Kelly focuses on trademark, false advertising, and copyright litigation. Rosie has worked with clients across a broad range of industries, including fashion and apparel, consumer goods, food and beverage, technology, hospitality, and media and entertainment.

Rosie's practice includes trademark prosecution and counseling for clients on the selection, registration, maintenance, portfolio management, and enforcement of trademarks in the United States and abroad. Rosie is regularly involved in cases before the federal trial courts and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) of the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

In addition to her prosecution, enforcement, and litigation experience, Rosie also advises clients on a broad range of domestic and global intellectual property issues, including licensing, advertising, and claim substantiation.

Prior to joining White & Case, Rosie worked for a global intellectual property boutique firm.

Conopco, Inc. v. 2026 Third Realty, LLC. et al
Assisted Unilever in an anti-counterfeiting case that stopped the distribution of 17,280 units of expired and counterfeit Hellmann's mayonnaise. Helped secure several ex parte temporary restraining orders and a preliminary injunction in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Sony Group Corporation v. Neil A. Campbell
Successfully opposed application for the mark SONISTREAM and secured a finding from the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board that the SONY mark is "exceedingly famous" and "among the most widely recognized marks in the United States."

Under Armour, Inc. v. Armorina Inc.
Member of trial team that obtained jury verdict for Under Armour in trademark infringement and dilution suit against women's athleisure apparel company in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
